Post inform dvla or not ???...

im changeing my seats of my mk4 5 door hatch to the blue and black leather n suede ones from a astra coupe.
the coupe doesnt have the centre belt fitted that mine does so im guessing mine is classed as a 5 seat car and coupe is a 4 seat car.
do i have to tell the dvla of the change for tax n mot n stuff?
im not sure myself n cant seem to find anyfing on my log book :s.
wana keep it on rite side of the law though.
also were would i get the same colour suede that vauxhall used in the seat centres n on my 888 gear n hand brake covers so i can get or do my door cards to match.

I read something about it will be listed as a 5 seaster for MOT. don't know if it makes much difference at the MOT or not.

can't see it being a problem just don't take on a middle seat passenger, or sell the car on advertised as a 5 seater.

As for the suede probably a question for the mk4 interior section, you'll get a quicker response

Put a lap belt in other wise it will fail the mot. Brett had this problem with his years ago.
