    How much boost pressure can a VXR turbo handle???

    as above wat max boost can vxr tubby handle before pops???is ther a safe max??as i ran 1.5bar an looking as answer to possible seal damage

    I think it can hold 18psi with overboosting at 23psi.

    mine was holding 1.5bar,hmmmm wonder if it was to much

    well last time I checked, 1 bar was 14.5 psi so your 1.5 bar is 29 psi

    far far too high

    I am running eds stage 2 and my leh turbo is putting out 22 ish psi an holding around 13 psi

    (may be one of our boost guage is telling porkies)

    if its a vxr hybrid it will hold 20psi,not sure about standard one?

    1.5bar is 21.7psi
    ASTRA MK4 GSI TURBO

    You need to go back to do maths I'm afraid, 14.5psi = 1 bar, 1.5 bar = 21.8psi if rounded up. Easily doable on a VXR turbo

    im holiding 19 psi with overboost of 24
