    Replacing the front door speakers (and amping them?)

    Ive got some cerwin vega componants to replace my front speakers, however i want to amp them, ive got an amp which i was going fit at the back of the passenger side footwell, my question is how do i amp the front door speakers and also amp them?


    ANy help is appreciated as i would like to crack on with it today is possible!!

    There's 2 or 3 way of doing this

    the way i've done is run speaker wires direct from my amp to the crossover for my new speakers then onto them.

    Another way is to run the amp wires tot he back of the headunit and pick up the speaker wires there before then running them into your crossover in the door

    A final way is to identify the speaker wires near the door grommets so it goes from the amp to the cut wires there, uses the car wiring to get through the door then onto uprated wiring again to your crossovers and then onto your speakers

    whats the best way in your opinion? as im looking into the same thing in another post?

    the wiring kits that come with amps have huge audio wires that are very thick in contrast to the ones used in the car already or do you use something similar to the cars existing wiring if your tapping into?
