    Wiriing boost gauge

    hey im looking to wire the light on my boost gauge, but some poeple say wire it to my sidelights and others to my ignition

    what is best?? surely the sidelights cuz then it will light up only when its dark and when i need it to light up?? also where is the sidelight wires to do this??

    You can do it either way TBH. I agree it would be best to have it light up with your side lights

    Yeah that's what I was thinking but it's got to go all the way up to my drives side just above the light switch isn't there something close I could do??

    You've got two options....either move the gauge or take a different power supply. Think i was reading quite recently about somebody that succeded to wire it into the headlight switch unit via trial and error, which would be closer to where you want to mount your gauge.

    You could go to the grey/green wire at the light switch for a non dimming side light feed or possibly the grey/black wire for a dimming feed

    where does it go to in the engine bay? will it go onto the pipe a dump valve would?
