    Question suspension problem

    have recently fitted bilstein shocks on my car, but since theyve been fitted theres a knocking noise when i go over bumps, in the box there was 2 rubber disc's, see pic. should these have gone on somewhere?

    i assumed they was for the rear, but when got them off the oe ones had rubber top and bottom so with me only getting 2 in the kit i left the original ones on.

    lol, do they all knock or something? as didnt do before i fitted them. do i need to buy something to stop them doing it? i wouldnt have thought they should knock as bought them brand new from LMF.

    apparently its something to do with the construction of the inside of the rear shock absorbers. mine knock on the rear, albeit only slightly. only way to stop it is to put the original ones back on

    I've got a set of B4's ready to fit this weekend


    I've also read on here that the Coupes have the worst knocking going on. It's not so apparent on the Hatches. Hmmm.

    they are b4's mate, gonna take them off again to make sure everything is ok with them.

    hmmm, first iv heard of the fronts knocking. maybe the droplinks?

    frount strut top bearing mounts when you take off the the old struts take what looks like a rubber cap u will need sum spring claps then put them on your b4's, if that makes sence.
    if your lowering your car you will be better off geting some s/s drop links
