    spark plugs or coil pack

    driving normalhome last night and i put my foot down, enigne light came on stayed flashing and then when into limp, car was vibrating really badly and cud bearly pull, got to my firends put it on obcom and it came up with, random multiple misfire, i was wondering if any1 could tell me if it was the plugs or the coil pack?

    could be either do you know anyone with a Z20let that you could borrow the coilpack from ?

    most probably coilpack, usually best changing the plugs at the same time if its been missing a while.

    if its the coilpack i have brand new one in box,bought it as i had same problem but turned out to be the spark plugs if ur looking for one?

    Always start with the cheapest option which would be spark plugs. Did it not tell you what cylinder misfired?

    i had the very same issue a few months ago, same symptoms and same cylinders

    Changed the coil pack and a set of cossie plugs and now pulls like a train

    Pm sent mate, cossie plugs are a bit of a debate on the site, some swear by them and others despise them.

    I bought some NGK IRIDIUM IX spark plugs after much research on the subject and they seem great, bought for under £30 delivered on eBay.
