    New guy

Alright, i'm brand new to this business and I would love some advice. I have a standard 1.9 CDTI 150 BHP. I'm thinking of getting the green chip from DTUK. Is it as simple as getting the chip or do I need to make other mods?

Also can anyone recomend a good insurer?

    Cheers

as simple as getting the chip it's plug and play, and should see you to around 200bhp

    Cheers

    What about insurance?

With the increased torque will it perform anything like a VXR?

    does this kill the car?

first welcome to the forums ... you will deffo have some massive gains from it ... i doubt it will perform quite like a VXR ... maybe upgrade suspension ... brakes get it lowered abit to improve handling etc ... insurance is completly depending on your age, employment status, area code etc

    Thanks for the warm welcom

I think im going to go for it i've got a quote for £944 which is ok.

The cars still under warrenty so I dont want to do too much yet

the upgrade to 150bhp from a Citroen C2 GT is great, but the upgrade to 200BHP would be awesome.

Everything is standard.........what else can I start with.

it reduces the risk of component failure and enables higher temperatures and pressures to be maintained apart from this i would say its purely just a visual mod
