    oil in intercooler

i had a turbo changed about 9 month ago as there was loads of oil in intercooler top hose . since replaced at vauxhall i have still found a little oil in although its dirty oil like when it first whent so today i took hose of the bottom of intecooler and there was dirty oil puddle but the hose that joined the turbo was dry and no sign of oil in bottom of turbo at all and i dont think im losing any oil . so could this just be oil left from last time as the turbo is bone dry when u look up into it and im shore its dirty oil . any ideas people

i would clean out the oil from intercooler totally with carb cleaner or something similar , reconnect pipes and then run engine for a few trips then remove the bottom intercooler pipe and check to see how much oil comes out if any from the bottom of the intercooler..

take the top and bottom intercooler hoses off, block the bottom of the rad off, pore some petrol thought it to wash the oil out, drain all the petrol out and leave to stand for a while, reconnect hoses and give the car a run and see what you get after that
