    Loud knocking from suspension/subframe

last year my car was lowered 50/30 on eibach springs and Bilstein dampers. Prior to that it was lowered 30mm on eibachs.

After the 50mm kit was fitted it started to develop an annoying knocking sound, I then took the car to the Isle of Wight and lets just say i have driven down smoother dirt tracks than their roads.

After it got back from there the knocking started to get worse. Back in late jan/feb this year enough was enough and took the lowering springs off as i thought the 50mm kit was to blame.

6 months on and its still knocking and sometimes sounds like the suspension is going to fall off.

The drop links were replaced when the lowering kit was removed as these were shot. All the bolts are tight and went through the MOT ok.

I am just wondering if the subframe bushes have gone of the suspension top mounts?

The car is 9 years old and done 85k

Anyone else had these sort of problems as i dont want to start throwing wods of the cash at it in process of elimination i can help it
