    De-Chroming Mk5

Hey guys, i'm sick and tired of the chrome on my car and had planned to wrap it in Carbon Fibre Effect 3M vinyl. I have however came across a colour which i think might compliment my wheels and will be an astra first (i think, i've not seen it anyway)

    MG Amarynthe Purple

My plan is to do the boot strip and front v grill this colour and do the front griffin a different colour (not yet decided lol)

So, i am in the process of downloading Photoshop Trial version to have a bash at mocking it up with no Photoshop experience whatsoever, but was hoping that if anyone has a spare few mins and is any good with photoshop they might be so kind as to Photoshop it for me?

also, if you think i've lost the plot and this will look daft, let me know lol

Ok, spent the last hour trying to self teach Photoshop, its remarkably apparent that its not that simple. Its certainly no MS Paint. Better find me an online guide lol...

Cheers mate. Are you considering doing the whole XP kit purple? I was talking to a mate about the very same thing the other day.

    Bizarre

I had originally had Carbon Fibre Effect in my head, but thats so 2009

Here you go bud its a bit tricky because of the colour you chose as its pearlescent, i could do it with the purple/blue flip but havent really got the time! I also did a wheel for you just to tie the colour in with something else as on there own it is a bit much?!

Just realised there had been a reply to this thread...

Long time to wait before replying haha

    Thanks for Photoshopping that mate

yeah, that does look a bit mad. The wheels are purple and green at present anyway, but really dark, nevertheless, think its back to the drawing board
