    Cool stelth shelf help

i have just won and picked up a 2nd hand stelth shelf for my mk4 astra hatch from ebay with i won for 99p.
only thing i dont get is how to attach the cords that lift the shelf up when u open the boot.
the ones i have on my car ends in a t peice and both sides go into a plastic slot/clips.
but the new shelf has the strings going into rings and not same as on the car.
is there a way to fit them or do i need new straps n if so were do u get them from?

could you get some girling rods off of a double sprung flange valve, and adapt those with some gigglin pins fitted to the ends??

Think you can probably find most of that stuff in a foofoo valve aswell.

Not sure about a long stand, but a long weight is going to be essential
