Low mileage isn't always the bonus it seems...

Good price though, Irmscher bumper bits I think, just needs the skirts and door strips coded to match

No not for me, I have enough problems with the ones I have got! It's the millage that we are drawn to. Not sure on a couple of things though. It's got an irmisher rear splitter but nothing else, tints, opel badge, red callipers, i think the wrong alloys for the age and no fogs. It maybe a modded car returned to standard. Or a front End smash?

Which could mean it's had a hard life...

Low mileage is good, engine being a Z18XE is a cracker if maintained, and the price seems ok but nothing special. about right but no bargain.

couple of things I've seen in the pics though. The painted calipers, and the power cable on the battery suggest it's either been subject to minor mods or has been modified and put back to standard. As such I'd be checking for signs of abuse, because although those of us on here are enthusiasts, modified cars do tend to get used a bit too "enthusiastically" as you almost certainly know

EDIT - I see you picked up on the same as I was typing. Mat, you've got the reg plate, so contact the seller and ask for the V5 document number and check the MOT info online. If they are dubious about giving you the V5 number then ask for the MOT test number off the certificate and go from there

Somehow didn't think it was for you, is this for the person you asked about the other week?

The wheels are right for a 52 plate, a friend at work has a 52 SXi and it has those alloys on but 4-stud. You could be right on the returned to standard I guess, almost like they put the old plastic skirts/door strips back on...red calipers are a slight giveaway though without asking them it'd be hard to tell.

Well spotted Pete for the power cable...

Coolant bottle looks well mucky too, mine is clear and you can see the coolant nice and clear pink after 162,000 miles...

Worth a look though, some people do look after their modified cars as this forum well shows

Is the rear glass tinted too?

If the engine isn't running or has just been started then that's not a problem.
