    Led help

    Hi I won't to replace all the lights in my speedo mfd and switches had the speedo out today and the lights are 1.1w if I change them to 2w blue LEDs will I overload the system ? Also are the lights in the mfd and heater dials the same as the speedo ?

    Did mine yesterday and they are all the same in mine. about the power I just got a set of here go to the for sale section you can get a set for a tenner also does the window and steering controls

    Just found out although the heater ones are twist you just take the bulb out the holder and replace with a push fit led

    I got a set of eBay and they aren't very good I might try the ones of here are they the ones you have if so are they any good ?

    yer had no prob with then you have to play and twist them abit but you have to do that with them all.
    Whats up with the ebay ones

    Was not bright enough and had to much solder on them so I might make my own up at the end of the month

    if you want it really bright you will have to solder extra leds inside the clocks

    e bay 1s are rubbish i sent mine back and got a refund they were cheaply made and fell apart got some off crazy leds 70p each blue 509t need 8 for all speedo/miliage mdf and heater dials and 1 t5 wedge for cig lighter dont forget to remove and swap the yelow diffusers for clear 1s

    also in your speedeo did you cut away all the plastic surrounding the bulbs? "lampshades". as i didnt do this and they looked dim removed well pulled some out and the others cut off and the blue leds look so much better/brighter etc.

    i had them on a previous corsa of mine they were ok but didnt put them into my new astra as thought they didnt look as well as original lights!
