Was it a brand new motor you fitted or a second hand one?

The wipers would work if the motor was faulty because the park is built into it

    I have a similar problem.

On first click they go all the way over and only half way back. if I put it on the second speed it will go back and forth properly but to get it to stop I have to pull it to off at the EXACT time other wise it will go half way up the screen and get stuck.

Mines doing that at the moment.

there is a single sweep you can do by nudging the stork a little (but not until it clicks into 1st speed)

as my motor is faulty the nudge moves the wiper across the screen then it stops, i nudge again and it goes down

i think this is better for the time being if i need intermittent

im gonna try fixing the connections inside
