    couple of quick questions

    looking for a haynes manual for my 2003 1.8 astra coupe would this manual cover it?

    also im after a crank shaft sensor would this be the right one?

    Answer is yes to the manual, and possible for the crank
    depends on the engine number of your 1.8, but I should think this covers it

    yes that is the correct crank sensor, same one as in my Z18 coupe

    cheers for the help, just had a quick look under the bonnet but cant see it any one got any pics were it is? is it a quick job?

    I think its hidden behind the cam belt covers and is close to the bottom end near the crank pulley.

    Job wise, I dont think its alot.

    I would guess you would have to remove the air box and the cam belt covers to get at it and maybe the cover that goes across the camshaft rocker box.

    I just had a hunt for my haynes manual but its dissapeared

    im gonna go get a haynes manual tomorrow i think need to do a couple of jobs and got a week off. cheers

    it is on the front of the engine just below the oil filter
