    collins dv

    i brought a brand new collins performance dv.. fitted it but its not loud at all?

    any ideas or is this how its sposed to be?

    mine was a little quiet at first but soon came loud . have u got vacuum
    hose into fuel pressure reg

    if you are using both dv it wont be that loud but if you put 1 way valve into oe dv vac pipe your collins will be loud.i have a collins but use both dv as its to loud for me with just using the collins on its own but every1 to there own.i think collins are about the loudest you can get mate but not 100% sure.

    ah sound, yeh its in the vac hose.
    ill see if i can break it in and see how it sounds

    Stick a 1 way valve in there. Bit louder after a remap too because of higher boost levels.

    how do i stick a one way valve in?
    do i take it out the vac hose?

    Theres a plastic vacuum pipe coming off the standard dv, going left and around the back of the airbox. This joins on to a rubber pipe at the back. Where this joins, you can put the one way valve in. It has to be so the air can be pushed at the standard dv, but not sucked back.
