New to Astras, Whats this worth?

Well ive currently got a glanza V, love the car tbh, but after seeing / taking a ride in my mates flame red astra gsi, ive decided i want one aswell. May not be quite as quick as a 280bhp glanza, however i love how refiened and smooth they are, how they look and a stage 3 one shouldnt be slow Going to have a look at this tomorrow, just wonderd if anyone knows much history on this car, and if its fairly priced and anything to look out for?

    Thanks Ollie

mmm yes true, im just looking now at the mods you actually need to make a gsi 300bhp, is might be worth buying a standard one tbh and doing it myself?

the mods that one has got are fine, id also ask him why he took off the gsi snowflakes and fitted sri alloys as imo and many others the snowflakes are the nicest alloys.

he also mentions a vxr engine, but the cooling pipes look identical to the setup on a LET engine, they are different on a VXR engine

edit, just re read advert, title says gsi turbo, his advert says sri turbo??? so what the hell is it lol

its either a gsi with a sri turbo rear bumper and wheels or a sri turbo with a gsi front bumper and skirts

Stay away from it, if anythin buy a gsi as standard as you can get it, then there's a chance that it hasn't been roasted. if you plan on spending that amount, you might as well. There's a few on Pistonheads at the moment, also a couple of nice one's on Autotrader. Good Luck Mate.
