Hi Firsty Whats tb3 ? excuse my ignorance lol

But the positive terminal is a sixpenny size hexaganal nut/washers and the negative is a lot smaller, located at the right hand side of the alternater, as veiwing from the front, it is best seen from underneath and is more accessible,
I can show pickies of a loom with the alternater off the car to help you,if you wish,

    Paula

sorry the tb3 is an audio term meaning. up grade. alternator to ground, alternator to battery, and battery to ground, to get the best charging current between them.

i might have to get under neath it, seems abit silly when the alternator is on the top. pics would be great then i can see what iim looking for

Hiya Sorry about the quality of pickies, anything done in a rush isn't good lol

The bigger nut is 15mm ( positive ) the smaller is approx 8mm negative

I do hope it gives you a clue

Probably a little more over anti-clockwise , but i couldnt balance it,

The wire connecters are in recesses and are awkward to get a socket onto,

No essex is about 300miles from me, but i would help if i could,

You maybe surprised how easy it is once you get the car jacked up on axle stand etc

    I hope i've helped you a little
