    Any help please

    Have a coupe turbo, z20let, when i bought it, it had a baileys dump valve fitted, then a mate of mine fitted a 1 way valve said it ran better etc.
    it ran fine,
    then just the other week i had water pump & timing belt done, wit new rocker cover gasket and other wee bits done,
    i treated mysefl to a collins dump valve,
    Occasionally it idles very low
    occasionally cuts out say if i pull to a stop at a junction or something!
    Occasionally it flashes dash warning lights up, like traction control, battery, service light and engine management

    Now this is occasionally as even this morning it seemed absolutly fine

    Also the collins dv has liek a second or 2 delay before u hear the wooosht noise

    Any help be most helpful
    Any1 know why this is

    Sounds like the collins is leaking air in on tick over. Put the baileys back on and see if it cures it also try taking the one way valve out and see what difference it makes.

    If the collins is leaking, does that mean i should send it back?

    as i said to you that day at pizzahut when i fitted ur one way valve jay.. running the colins will always have a delay..

    some people have issues running them and some dont..

    try checking all ur vac pipes etc for splits etc but to me it sounds like ur havng the same issue most people do with the colins..

    i was luck and theslight delay dont bother me.

    The delay dont bother me to much its the other crap thats happening, i just dislike my Baileys,
    Also the collins sounds very quiet most of the time in comparison to the baileys, and i dont think this is normal
    Boost gauge says its boosting ok!
    I have a blown centre section but im booked into planet performance for a full 3" turbo back system, see if that sorts any problems!

    double check where the DV is taking its feed from but im sure its correct ... From the FPR where i ran ur boost gaugae pipe for you..

    im having massive issues the now too

    swap... u should have my problems t hen.. least urs is running..

    easy solution to this is remove the colins and refit the baileys... or even better..

    get rid of the DV alltogether and use the recirc that s there

    its solves the stalling issue and at the end o the day... some cars run nice and some dont with these.. its ur luck a guess...
