15 Years of Astra ownership, less than a week left

In 1995 i bought my first Astra (MK3 1.4 LS)

Since then, as i've never had any huge issues i've replaced Astra's with Astras.

But since becoming a Dad, something was needed with a bit more boot space, not for day to day driving, but for when we go camping (We go two to three times a year and Billing)

I've spent the last 2-3 weeks getting my Astra MK4 back to standard (as much as possible) and yesterday I put a deposit on this.

2003 Signum 2.0 Turbo Elegance, it's got 41k miles on the clock.

So smooth to drive, and pulls like a train.

I have a few plans, must try and avoid looking at 19" Snowflakes.

    Looks nice,

What made you go for that instead of a Vectra C? Are they in between in size?

    Two things.

    Looks and price.

I don't like the Vectra C hatch or saloon. I was looking at Vectra C estates, for the same spec car you can pay upto £1k less for the Signum.

Plus i prefer the back end, anyway.

If you can live with four seats I'd go for the Signum over a mk5 Astra estate or a similarly priced Vec C estate that's for sure. Sadly, I couldn't live with 4 seats, so went Zaf

    nice buy

It's a 5 seater. (only just, but it does have three rear 3-point seatbelts)

fair do's, I was led to beleive they were 4 seaters, with a funny console thing in the middle of the back seats.

Yep they do, flick of a lever, it spins over to produce the third seat.

The Elite models have a fridge there, and no seat.

would you realistically get 3 adults in the back? or even 2 adults + 1 child?
