    using a sports cat

    do you have to space the lambda sensor when fitting a sports cat?or put it in as normal?

    ok,its just that my mate fitted 1 and its spluttering and brought light on since fitted and some1 said that somtimes sports cat can bring light on and that you have to space the sensor to solve it?

    not herd of it on the astra, a decat can bring it on so you may need to space it out then, but not herd of anyone having to do it on a sports cat. has you mate damaged the sensor?

    Is it a cobra sports cat as i have heard of people having running issues with those in the past.

    Ive got a Cobra and I have spaced the sensor out because the light was on. Didn't run any differently though and still passed its MOT.

    I'm running a 200 cell sports cat and ive had a couple of issues with the lamda sensor
    is the spacer method just using a washer of sum sort.
    ACT now sold

    no mate, its a special adaptor you need, i cant remember if its the astra or the old car i owned but 1 of them needs a 90 degree elbow adaptor
