    Speaker Problem

Hi all, Right i have a problem with my vibe components/my vibe black box amp. If i have the music on pritty loud after a short time the music becomes really muffled as if some one has put their hand over the woofer and tweeter. If i turn it down for a few seconds and then turn it back up its fine but quickly goes muffled again. Any ideas on what it could be .

too much treble? too much bass maybe?

prehaps even simply a loose wire or connection, failing that, somthing set up wrong on the amp?

if somthing else, id say get the speakers exchanged for new ones if you have receipt

    hi
i came on here tonight with the exact same problem, i tried different settings on the head unit but no luck, on certain tracks all i can hear from the tweeters is just crackle! everything sounds just wrong. i might check the crossovers tomorrow but i hoped it wouldnt be a problem there because it means taking door panel off.
is your sub ok as mine seems to be working fine. its just a problem with the front mids and tweeters.
ill let u know if i have any luck and vice versa
