    engine management

    hi, ive had the engine management light just come on in the car, plugged it into my mates comp and it coming up crank shaft sensor, the warning light is only on 70% of the time, ne one advise me on the problem? is it a big job?

    ive also got the high emisions light wich is only on 50% of the time, had this on my last coupe and after a while it disapeared and never came back, my brother owns that car now and hes never seen it.

    Crank sensor should be an easy swap, what engine do you have? It may throw the emissionsl ight on too at a guess if it isn't working right because of the crank sensor fault.

    its the 1.8 eco tech engine, the traction control light has also started coming on, came on when driving down the motor way, only comes on when driving over 60-70 and doesnt come on when i switch the car off n on.

    turning out to be a good buy this car is lol.
