There was a software update to fix this on the parrot phone kit so on 5.23c it works fine.

I believe mine started working from 5.20 onwards but parrot say it's not compatiable at all

On the 3000 it can only be done with a special lead plugged into a computer with the parrot updater software or by sending your box away for update http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=p....c0.m270.l1313

I thought about buying the lead but don't get enough call for it

I know I have paired a 3000 kit to a 5800 with 5.22 software. There's no way to put the 3000 into update mode which is why you need the lead

Let me know how you get on though and if you buy the lead and want to sell it after let me know

Right I fitted a CK3000 EVO with 5.23c software and my Nokia 5800 paired to it with no issues and made a call

One thing I did think about though was the number of previous phones possibly paired to the kit before so with the ignition on press and hold the red and green buttons to delete it's memory

yes mate, tried all that, the phone sees the parrot but when trying to connect it comes up with "connection failed" without even entering or asking for the pass key?

How do i find out what software is on my parrots? i brought them both about 2 years ago.

On the CK3000 when you search for the phone kit the number you find after the parrot is the software version. For example my phone still has Parrot 5.23c in it's memory from the one I did friday and 5.23 is the software number

I thought you had 3100 or 3200 display phone kits mate?
