    Fog Lights

    Hi all,

I know this may sound a daft question but its driving me insane,

My Astra sxi (07) is booked in for its MOT this week, I have been checking it over so hopefully it doesnt fail on anything petty.

I have noticed that the near side fog light isnt working, now thinking this was easy, took the light apart to swap the bulb to find that it is fine.

So I tested the connection with a circuit tester to see if its actully getting any power, which it isn't.

The confusing thing is, is that when I bought the car around 2 years ago, I am positive that this was not working then,

I am just wondering if anybody could confirm this, or if there is a deeper fault on the car?

    Regards,

    Andy M

you'll need to trace the entire wire for the fog light right back to the fuse box at the front of the car.

I have a tutorial on here on how to install fog lights (Everything You Need To Know About Fogs) and that will show you how they are plugged into the fuse board.

If this wire is loose then its a matter of putting back in, also look for damaged wires.
