    front splitter on standard bumper

hi guys, i recently fitted some lights to my car which involved me cutting the front splitter, they were usage in the dark. i have no unwired the lights but cant seem to get a standard splitter for the car apart from one at vauxhall... 90+vat (yeah right) none of the scrap yards round here have any, i have heard alot about the cupra r front splitter being fitted, but would this look ok on a standard bumper? i'm getting desparate to change it now, it looks a mess thanks for any help!

it might be worth posting up a pic of your splitter or telling us what model your front bumper is from chief! makes it easier to advise you but i recently lost half my coupe turbo splitter and it was like 90 plus vat retail. found it for 22 tho trade ;-)
