    Blown bulbs in trip display

When I bought my Astra the bulbs had blown in the display, so I replaced them, but within the month they had blown again, , the only thing I was doing was fiddling around with my phone charger in the ciggy lighter which is when I noticed that the bulbs had gone.

My question is, would wobbling the charger in the ciggy lighter make the bulbs blow, or is there another reason that anyone knows about that would make both bulbs go at the same time??

I know it was working the night before, and noticed them gone the next morning!

Ive checked the fuses, all is fine there, dont really want to buy some more bulbs, and go through the arse ache of taking the dash apart to replace them if they're likely to go again soon!

    Cheers in advance

    Martin

Martin wobbling the charger wouldn't cause the bulbs to blow, you may have just been unlucky and had a faulty batch

Thats what I thought on the charger, but thought it a bit of a coincidence that both the bulbs blow at the same time if they were faulty, is there anything I can look for that might cause them to go??
