    battery drains FAR TOO EASILY?

not got a clue what battery i have in there at the moment, but since ive had the car, ive realised how EASY the battery drains..

First time i had encountered the problem, i left the stereo on with a bit of music.. Absolutely my fault for being reckless but it was left on for about half an hour.

Two days ago, we went out for a camp and we used the headlights of BOTH cars to give us some light setting up a 14 man tent..
Both cars powered on, till we finished, which i think was also around twenty minutes- half hour.
My mates Clio didnt lose a hair, mine, died... But why? Surely a bigger car will have a bigger and endurable battery to compliment the engine etc?

My Just have a faulty battery.
Have you tried replacing it, or borrow one to see if its the battery?
Disclaimer - some of the above text may actually be sarcasm (believe it or not!)

I thought that much too iain.
There isnt anywhere where i could borrow a battery at the moment, but i am close to just replacing it down halfords?
I mean, how long on average should a battery last anyway? because this is getting far too ridiculous. Luckily all my mates are beef, we were able to push it back up the hill out of the campsite and jump start it.
