    pretensioner replacement

    how much will a dealer charge 2 change a seatbelt pretensioner, i keep getting fault code and light on dash, or can any garage sort

    After fixing an airbag item the light will need to be reset using tech 2 or opcom

    tried with opcom but still comes up, its a high resistance fault code. seatbelt pretensioner hasnt gone off as a tag normally pops up if corrent

    2 bolts to remove the seat, one bolt holding the pretensioner to the seat, 1 plug under the seat - swap over and refit

    should take no more than half hour to do yourself

    id imagine a dealer to charge a good few hours labour and demand the tech2 reset cost on top of that



    have u tried hardwiring the wiring and bypassing the silly little plug that sometimes causes errors? either hardwire to the harness under the seat or cut off the plugs and fit fresh plug n play connectors like bullets - properly soldered and crimped, then opcom it
