    Timing Belt/Auxiliary Timing Belt

    Hi everyone

I'm after a lot of advice here so please bear with me. I have an 02 1.6 16V sxi and I need my timing belt and auxiliary timing belt changed and have a mechanic who is willing to do it for a small fee so basically I have to buy the kit's and he'll do it. Is this the correct tool to lock the the camshafts off? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Laser-GM-Vauxh...3e2561dc5#shId

I know this is an obvious question but I'm pretty sure my engine code is z16xe so this is the correct timing belt kit http://www.autovaux.co.uk/LoadPortal...bid=5&vnum=128

Should I get the water pump replaced while he is at it? I had a look on auto vaux, as you can tell, for the water pump and just need confirmation that this is the right one http://www.autovaux.co.uk/LoadPortal...bid=5&vnum=128
Although it doesn't have the engine code listed.

I can't seem to find the auxiliary drive belt kit on auto vaux so if anyone can recommend where I could buy it from that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    drive belt is 93181316

    2 water pumps listed for the Z16XE (9192797 & 93182038 )

if u can grab me your engine number from your V5 I'll get u the right part

If in doubt, give Autovaux a ring and give them your reg number, they will be able to get u the right parts based on that and speed everything up.

Failing that, theres some excellent retailers on ebay, just whack in the part number and click "search title and description" and youll come up trumps

not entirely sure on the locking tool as i need one for mine

ive done 3 timing belts and never bothered with the locking tool, its not really needed the inlet cam only drops back a tooth so just pull it back into position when you put the belt on
