HELP NEEDED QUICK AS POSS.... (ta!)

Right... Posted about an EGR problem, got that sorted. it was actually loose bolts on the fuel injector head.

Now. I have a problem. The ECU is showing a speedo fault and is diagnosed by the computer as "idle speed not set correctly."

The fault means that the speedo does not work and the revs are all over the place.

Having diagnosed the problem and identified which part I need, (Speed Sensor), I need to know how to change it.

My question is basically that... how do I change a speed sensor?

Many thanks for your help in advance!

By the way, its a '98 Mk 4 Astra estate 1.6 LS

Your speed sensor may be built into the N/S/F wheel hub (assuming you don;t have ABS) so first check all thats plugged in ok
