    Hi amz 2427,

Did you get a new engine for your car? What happened the old one?

I have a 2004 1.7 CDTI Astra and the engine is after going in it. Finding it very hard to get one, brand new one quoted in and around €3,500.

My engine went due to no water... I have been asking around and have heard a few people say there is some kind of known problem with a pipe bursting, you don't get any warning, and that's it - banjaxed.. Is this what happened your old engine?? Thanks.
