    i wouldnt risk over300 on standard,though i have new pec rods an cosworth pistons arp bolts an acl n mahl bearings,just to be sure

    surly 300-310 is safe as places like regal wouldnt map them up to that sort of power as they would get nothing but complaints when peoples engines go pop

    they will map the car mate, but its on the egde of limit which i wudnt risk, if i had a gsi a wud take it to 285bhp wudnt take it anymore but thats me. am sure 300bhp is fine tho mate, i wudnt push it to 320bhp no way not without stregthening

    all down to boost pressure etc, straing an engine is the point of destruction really. look at trickyb hes got near on 400bhp with standard bottom end thanks to running lower boost and a good smooth map
