    help with repairs for mot!

    Astra mk 4. 1998 its a 1.4 16V LS

it failed on emissions, was told i need new cat does anyone know a rough cost on the cat? and is it an easy job to fit myself? also is the cat and flexi pipe etc just one piece as the flexi pipe is buggered?

also gonna just clean up the lamba sensors do i need a special tool or anything for this?

thanks in advance for any help.

lamba sensors can be hard to get out, due to where they are fitted, any exhaust place should have some flexi pipe of the right size, then its just a case of cutting yours out an puttin the new flexi in and clamping it up
