    fk question?

    anyone know if you can remove this bit?

    looking to get a bit more light output, before i upgrade to hid's

    for starters mate thats for your high beam so wont really have any effect on the brightness of your normal headlights

    sorry ment to say, looking to get a bit more light output out of the main beam, going down country roads at night, the full beam does next to nothing

    that looks like the transit bracket thing, on the fitting instructions it tells you to remove it before fitting. bit fiddly to get out tho

    He's on about the silver/chrome cone in the very centre of the lense

    to be honest, if your putting HID's into your full beam I would not worry about removing this piece, unless it fouls the HID bulb

    make sure you get a 55w hid kit, 35w are ok but 55w are definately brighter

    If you remove that your light output will be worse!

    That reflects the bulb onto the rest of the lens

    oh right, i thought that as the standard lights had nothing in the way, they would act similar to them

    i thought about trying to remove that aswell, the light output on full beam from FK's is absolutely shocking!!

    as mentioned it will make it worse by removing that as it reflects the light back, to be projected forward, and i think.... thats a mot failure without that...
