The Audi R8 5.2L Spider I remapped earlier today

    Hi,

For those of you who asked to see, this is what I've been tinkering with this afternoon.

    I present the Audi R8 Spider. 5.2L V10.

Trust me when I say this thing is now stupidly fast!

Finally my lowly Astra G in the back ground, leass that 1/5th of the power of this R8.

This has been a true pleasure to remap...and the owner is one really nice chap!

    Enjoy the pics

It should be pushing 555 BHP+ and 491 nm Torque.

The customer can feel a MASSIVE difference in the performace and big grins all round too.

because this is a bi-ECU (master/slave se up) it takes twice as long and a lil bit more complex to write.

We charged this chap £400 (which is fairly cheap as we wanted this as a trial)

    Normally we charge £350 +VAT for a turbo diesel/petrol and £300 +VAT for a petrol normally aspirated.

Tom{BSC} - why would he want to? Why not? if you can do it, go for it!

Beside's if you saw this guys house and grounds, he's not short of a quid or two.....not even a tip either from him!!

Have you mapped one of these engines before, 'cause if I owned a 100k plus car
I would certainly be going to a very reputable mapper, MTM or Sportec best two in the business, and I would not let anyone use my car as a trial thats for sure
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
