    Exclamation mot failure 1.6 astra

my car has just failed the emissions test as the co level is about 0.48 to 0.50

but ive just replaced the lamba sensor, cat, new air and oil + filter, and bosch super 4s,

any idea what might be making it too high?

Just one lambda sensor replaced? I'd be wanting it on a computer etc. for some diagnosis before splashing out any more cash.

Are there not two lambda's, one before and one after the CAT? I'd expect a computer diag to pull up any bad readings though...

the x16xel can be a swine to get it through the emissions MOT test, when i had mine it was the same readings as yours and it was all down to the cat. i had an aftermarket one and it struggled to get hot enough for the lambda to start switching. once i put the original vauxhall cat back on, my reading dropped to near zero. it was all down to the quality and density of the cat internals
