    Astra - 16v or 8v ?

    I have an Astra Club 1.6 auto 53 reg does anyone know if it would be 16v or 8v. When i put my reg into car check sites it says its 16v but the engine dont look like a 16v?...........

    your VC5 (log book) will tell you bud.

    also you will not be able to manage you garage until you upgrade to a paid membership.

    get a pic of the engine up and you'll soon find out.

    16v is wider at the top due to it having two camshafts.

    and the girlfriends 8v


    completely different engines to be fair, but you get the idea
