    Finish my engine cover off yesterday, turned out quite well i think

    what do you reckon? like the badge?

    looks well mate... just a though thou... what did you use to attach the badge...

    only reason I ask is it may melt the glue holding it on

    looks like you have done a good job there mate.
    on the neg side...
    i had the same problem as you, my old 2.2 mk4 was red and when i come to spray my headlight eyebrows, i went to halford to get the "vauxhall flame red" and what do ya know, it turned out more orangey than red...
    i bet you got the srpay can from halfords didn't you!!

    yh i got the spray can from halfords.

    its just an gm badge so it comes with sticky stuff on the back already, seems ok so far (fingers crossed)

    just with spray cans m8, sanded down to 1500grit wet and dry, cleaned, primer, sand again clean again, paint , clean, lacquer

    yh i know, might put a few more layers on some time

    im quite happy with the result plus i like the new bolts i put in as well from wilko lol
