    u mean instrument binnacle yeah?

theres loads on ebay - just whack in "astra speedo" for instance

    heres one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MK4-ASTRA-G-SX...item255ba5d4d2

** its also from one of AOCs official supporting traders, so might wanna drop em a PM see what they have in stock **

you can fit any 120/140/160mph units providing u fit the entire instrument binnacle as above...the fact its a 1.6 is irrelevant.

Just make sure u buy petrol variants (with 7k redline) as opposed to the Diesel ones which only max out at 6k

Be prepared for the speedo >possibly< not reading true when you fit in the new clocks though.

Am in the process of trying to find out how much Vaux charge to calibrate it, but Vaux don't seem to like replying by e-mail for some reason & insist on trying to call me, even though i'm at work during their hours of business.

kev, think ur in the minority of ppl whove had this problem!

ive had about 6 or 7 different sets of clocks in mine over the years and never had an issue and neither has anyone i know

i know u said "possibility" but id say its a very slim possibility

aye that's why i said possibility (because i agree - i think i possibly am in the minority here).

I know others have experienced it too, but not many. Some who have "experienced" it swapped black for white clocks & according to the innoparts dial mats, they're not the exact same, even if they're both 140mph/7k

I've also only had one set of clocks which i came to this conclusion off. I'd need more clocks to test it better.

The other possibility, is maybe i just examine things closely/too closely due to my fussy/perfectionist nature. Where one guy wont even bother considering it/thinking about it, i had a feeling my speedo was out, especially when doing 70mph i couldn't overtake lorries.

So out came the sat nav & many long drives on long back roads to test it out.

If i can't fix my clocks, then i'll be going the black clock/innoparts setup & will have a better idea then.

Thanks GeordieBandit Just what I need, I guess the plain bulbs come with it?

what happen is, I had blue blubs and it went out, so it need replacing but it broke the circuit board because it kept replacing, causing rev counter not to work, it stupid, it work like on one cable line.

just a question, can I get better speedo dash look with better lighting for my astra model?
