    Door handles and rear seat

I want to spray all four of the door handles. Do i need to remove the doorcards and just open some screws/bolts on the inside? Or is there more to it than that?

Also my rear seat has started making annoying sounds from the passenger side. Had a look and it seems like it doesnt lock into place properly, so its always moving back and forward slightly when am driving. anybody else had this problem?

    Thanks

I've literally done my door handles in the last week, in the run up to Billing. really simple job.

doorcards need to come off, as follows:

    1) remove the 3 phillips screws from the bottom of the card
    2) remove screw under black rubber plug in the handle in the centre of the door
    3) remove aforementioned handle with flat blade screwdriver, there is a tab to depress in the gap at the side of the handle nearest hinge side of the door.
    4) remove two screws behind the handle, in the centre of the door.
    5) remove tweeter and elec window switch (or blanking plate if manual windows) and undo screws behind there.

**If you have manual windows you will need to remove the winder with either a forked tool or a flatblade screwdriver at this point**

    6) prise doorcard off, undoing cable to the interior door handle on the rear of the card.

once doorcards are off, peel back the plastic membrane, and then for the rear doors just unclip the wire going to the latch, and then undo the two nuts that hold the handle and & retaining plate in, and the handles can be pulled out. on the front doors you will need to drill out the rivets for the window guide, and then undo the nuts. the guide can then be re-riveted in with a hand rivet gun.

this is the first time I've done this, and the front doors took me under 30 mins to do each side, and rear doors abotu 15-20 mins each.

this is the exact set I bought. the largest rivets that are supplied in the pack are an exact match for the ones you need to drill out.
