    Have a look in the MK5 FAQ as it's been done there. The same principles will apply for the MK4

    to give everyone an idea of what i want to do;

    imagine the boot for a second

    take the lid off, soundproof the entire inside.
    one acrylic sheet that is cut down to the size mimicking the lid, this will be sealed in with rubber seal, and i think i would be able to fit something like 8 or 10 5inch speakers all and around it. in a circular pattern
    I will then have ANOTHER piece of acrylic on top, that acts as the upper layer of my boot floor? this will be secured with rubber spacers and a couple of bolts.

    So the entire thing is pretty much visible, both the acrylic sheets will be drilled ALOT, so both air and the sound can be pushed in and out.

    But depending on the power demand, I may or may not include say a 12 inch sub in the build? and remove my sub unit that i have now! does that make sence?

    Something like this
