right ive been to quick fit and had it re-gassed but they said they coulldnt get it to come on,and they dont fix it,so my system is fully gassed but the fan in front of the condenser has siezed i think, would this stop it working or is the fan only for when your stationery as no air is passing through, also i heard about the compressor clutch, can this be turned on manually and how would i know if its kicking in .help????????????

i have climate control rather than the ac button,i put it on low and when i look in the engine bay the wheel on the compressor is spinning as this is attached to the drive belt i think this may not be engaging inside this, shud i check there is power getting to it
    ?

I've got almost the exact same problem as you except mine happened in reverse.

I felt my a/c wasn't as cold as it used to be so I got Kwik Fit to re-gas it and for a month its been pretty cold then all of a sudden a few days ago it started making this loud wurring noise when a/c was on but quiet when off.

That was for a couple of days but now it just blows out warn air and zero cold at all and it should be fully gased

    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Jim
