So today I fitted a new manifold to my coupe as it was cracked/blowing and sounded horrible. All went fairly well until it came to starting the car and there is now an almighty blow which I believe is from the join from the manifold to the precat.
This was pretty much the only thing I struggled with and was not sure it was on properly at the time.
I took the bolt all the way out of the clamp and then spread it apart so I could slide it over the circular lips on both parts and then do back up. Is this the correct method? At first I had trouble getting it off the manifold trying not to bend it or anything.
Does anyone have any tips/advice on this?
