Rebooking driving test after failing - how long to wait?

My brother failed his driving test today. I assumed you could rebook it that day but he was told he has to wait 10 days.

Is that 10 days before he can rebook?
10 days before he can re-take?
    10 business days?
    10 calendar days?
    Bullshizzle?

I saw this link & the responses were laughable: http://www.findlegaladvice.org/forum...est-315872.htm All manner of replies. Surely the answer is only one thing, not one of many possibilities FFS?!

Anyone know for 100% without-a-doubt sureness?

I would try and rebook ASAP if I were your brother mate. The waiting list near me is 2 months so obviously well over the 10 days.

Think you can rebook immediately but cannot take the test for 10 days!

I sense deja vu (re: that link i gave) lol.

In other words, it's a case of call his instructor or call the people who make the rules & get a definite answer then aye?

Just browsed & it seems to suggest you can't take one within 10 days but you can book the same day.
