    zlet---vxr throttle body help

right im doin a conversion on a corsa c using the zlet engine, now for some reason the hoses wont go on the zlet throttle body so ive had to bung them with a bolt (car isnt on the road atm)

what are these hoses used for, as i see they carry water, and if i change to a vxr throttle body what happens to these hoses, can i change to a vxr throttle body is it easily done

    thanks guys

They are used to warm the throttle body in cold conditions.

Not needed in this country though.

They are their to heat the throttle body and prevent internal icing in cold damp weather, guess vauxhall deemed it unnecessary on the Mk5's.

Cut a bit of 5mm copper pipe and join them, there is a little clip just below the throttle body to sit the pipe in after.
