Hi I derestricted it today got the orange light come on and it's a missfire cylinder one took it out and it was fine now it's starting being abit lumpy at idle and when starting anyone else had this it should not need remaping it's only abit more cold air it should improve it if anything

    coincidence im afraid matey

    what engine we talking about?

0301 is misfire on cylinder 1 - usual culprit will be the coil pack but feel free to try a new set of plugs first

i would say the coilpack was on its way out anyway, its just an unfortunate coincidence that it failed after derestricting the airbox.

just my opinion of course - plugs are of course cheaper so should be your first port of call

maybe able to borrow a coil pack off a local member on here or someone u know ?

Try checking the pipe that clips onto the back of the airbox lid this pulls apart easily and may of fell apart when u removed the lid. if the pipes have parted it will cause a lumpy idle.

The other pipes foot actually go in the airbox but they clip onto it.
