    Rear Springs - Mk3

    Hi All

Need to replace a rear spring as MOT tester spotted one of mine was partly broken. I have a pair but from different one.

Mine is a 95' 2.0 16v CDX and the spairs are from a 97' 1.4 8v LS. Would i be able to swap them or are the 1.4's not suatable for the 2.0.

If it helps, the 2.0 has AV 395 stamped on it and the 1.4 has AW 277 stamped on it. Do you know what these mean?

The rest of the back end is similar apart from discs on rear of 2.0 so would have thought they weight about the same.

    Thanks all

Do you know if any of the Mk4 one's will fit cos the Mk3 ones seem quite rare now.

Been to local scrappy and picked up a pair from a 96' - 97' 1.6 16v GLS. Not bad for £5 so gonna put them on at weekend. Hope that will do.
