    Ecn 161450

    herroo

I have a 1.7cdti sxi and today would not turn over, after a few times turn the ignition it started. Did the pedal test and ECN 161450 error code came. its something to do with the immobiliser i heard.

If i carry on driving with this fault will there be any long term damage? Also i do i resolve this problem? Just wanted to added the battery on the fob was low a few weeks ago but didn't change it could this be part of the problem?

    Thank You

Had it on mine about 6 week ago. Happened once and not happened since, fault code has gone aswell. It seems like a common problem from what I gather but wouldn't worry about it.

    161450 cut engine on M1

    Hi,

Mine cut out in the fast lane on the M1. Then sorted itself after 5 mins. Ok for couple of hours. Came on again during return journey, but this time no loss of power. Ok for a few weeks, and then came on again, no loass of power.

Don't want to have to shell out for a new CIM - but also don't want to be caught with no power on the motorway.

Any ideas. ECN 161450 again. 54 reg 1.7 CDTi

    TIA

    Rob
