    Boot popper

Ok, well i plan on going down the smoothed boot route soon, i have read all the old threads about this but there is a lot of dead ebay links and things.

I dont have an alarm so am planning to start with just a button inside the car, can i just wire on up the the wires that originaly operated the boot lock solenoid?

But obviously i want this to only work when the key is in the car.

Lastly, the latch... Nexia latches seem a bit thin on the ground some people have said there are ones from ebay that work? But the links i have seen are old so dont know what to look for

You can use the orgional wires if you isolate them inside the car. You'll then just need to earth one of them and run the other to the ciggy lighter via a switch so it only works when the ignitions on

Seen some kits on ebay that are pretty cheap so will maybe get one of these and play around with that.... And once i do expect me to ask more questions.

The wires go up through the top of the boot, but where do they end up in the dash does anyone know?

You'll still have to pick them up at the back still as they will branch off to the doors and petrol flap at the front
